Hair Crisis..

Ok seriously.. I have a MAJOR hair crisis.. I am not the type that would notice something 3ala 6ool.. I always notice things in me when someone points it out or when I “accidentally” discover it.. so I NEVER bother to see my hair or take care of it or anything,, wallah ma fa’9ya.. ya3ni once in a while yala 7amam zait, or blow-dry it or ya3ni pamper my self.. So here I am washing my hair, I decided to let it dry and 5alieha tkoon kisha (I have curly hair) so it looks nice from behind and all.. as you can see in this pic…

Then after an hour or so I decide to look at my self at the mirror,, and guess what I see..

YES YES TAQA9UF MA 6ABI3I.. MY FRONT HAIR IS LITERALLY 2 INCHES LONG, WTF!!! YA3NI IT CANT EVEN PASS FOR BANGS,, OMG OMG.. I am freaking out right!!.. so what Standy decides to do, yala lets go blow dry it.. GOOD OR BAD IDEA.. here is the out come..

IT WAS POINTING NORTH THE WHOLE DAY EVEN AFTER THE BLOW DRY SESSION!!!

Chocolate Cravings

I HAVE BEEN CRAVING FOR CHOCOLATE FOR THE PAST 4 DAYS AND NO ONE WANTS TO FEEEEEEEEEED IT TO MEEEEE..

Well actually since I am dieting AGAIN, coz my sisters wedding is next week and I need to FIT into my dress and REALLY maintain my current weight, My Diet Supervisor decided to go TOUGH on me and be so EXTRA strict and my sister EMILY is NOT HELPING coz when she came from the U.S she DIDNT get me any sweets or eatable things under the name of ‘I care’ and per her words ‘I don’t want you to screw your diet progress and be the reason behind it’ (I was really looking forwards for the sweets)…

ANYHOW, as I was saying I NEED CHOCOLATE.. umm any suggestions what chocolate should I eat? Buy? Or even make from scratch??

8 More day to the wedding, 8 more days to having chocolates and coffee =)

-I am no more Cinderella of the house.
(The maid is back and i can chill now)

-My sister arriving from the U.S on Sunday 25th.

(Its not my fault, my sister is getting married and i am celebrating)

-Cant wait to see my little brother who be coming from Australia by next week.

-Seeing my uncles and aunties who are coming for the wedding and having a full house.
(its been over 2 years since i last saw them)

19th Gulf Cup Semi Finals Scores

The last 4 teams standing were Oman, Kuwait, Qatar and KSA..
The last 2 matches where between
Oman and Qatar (1-0 for Oman)
Kuwait and KSA (1-0 for KSA)

Qatar and Kuwait better luck next time and it was really a good game to watch.

The Kuwaiti supporters where so nice, i even talked to one of them on my way out and wished him good luck as i gave him the Omani flag and he told me “inshallah el Kuwait fi el niha2i o el kas 3omani” I was like no no no, el kas for whoever wins.. bas he insisted, and he was like “tistahloon, tistahloon”.. awww so sweet of him… Just for the record i was supporting Kuwait.. I wanted the cup to start and end with Oman and Kuwait,, bas yala al7amdulliah 3ala kul 7al..

Ok, here are 10 honest things about me..

1. I am always feeling cold.. Doesn’t matter if it was winter or summer, I am always cold..
2. I hate up tight people.. Hey life is short CHILL!!
3. Sometimes i dislike the fact that my parents are known as i get a different treatment when they find out i’m who’s daughter (work and social wise).
4. I forgive and forget easily.. (people take advantage of that)
5. I love my car!! And that fact that its manual =D (I have a Subaru Impreza)
6. I don’t like to make my bed.. I like to go back to sleep on a messy bed. That way i get to continue my sleep, and surprisingly i do fall asleep faster on a messy bed than tidy one.
7. I am a very practical person.
8. Each friend/ group of mine has a nickname for me. I have like 6-8 nicknames (constantly used).
9. Sometimes i don’t see the obvious, what is in front of me.. I am usually clueless, slow and lost.
10. I am a very clumsy person.. I end up having bruises and pains and i just cant remember what i hit or when.

I didn’t get to go to the stadium yesterday coz it was full so I had to watch the game at home bas with 20 people in the room, it sure still pays off…

Mabrooken lil foooz ams.. Great game.. Oman played really well and the goals were something else.. El-Kuwait tried their best and al7amdulliah they made it through..

Mission Possible

Now that i’m 1 kg away from my target weight a new challenge was thrown my way..
My Bestfriend promised me an “i-touch”

My Diet Supervisor promised me a 5kg worth of chocolates from Germany..

The catch is that i reach 60kg..
And i say, BRING IT ON!!!

Starting weight: 66kg..

Target weight: 60kg..

Duration: Before i travel in the summer (somewhere in June-July)..

Diet Update #10 (Finale)

So here i am.. i reached the end of the diet,, this journey of 10 weeks was unbelievable.. I had my ups and downs with it.. I was so close to giving up so many times if it wasn’t for some amazing people in my life that without them this wouldn’t have been possible..

My Doctor and My Bestfriend, for the support and for being with me in every step and never giving up on me.. I am so lucky to have you in my life.. Thank you so much for making this possible for me..

My Diet Supervisor, for believing in me so much that it truly terrified me to the point that i did exhaust myself in wanting to prove to you that i can.. I could never afford to disappoint you. Plus your loosing weight story was really inspiring that it made me believe that i can do anything I set my mind to.

The WIMBAA shila, how can i forget the support of my friends during my work lunch break where they would go to a healthy place to eat just so that i can join them.. You guys are the best.. Thank you for your time and your encouragement..

Dandoon for her support always and sweet words of encouragement on every diet post and to the fact that she tried to diet for 3 days and celebrated the other 4 with sweets :p… (la I really admire the fact that you tried)

Despertpalms, for her unlimited support and her promising to send me sweets if i managed to loose weight which was a major encouragement.

Ms.D, as i read on her blog how she lost over 27 kgs in 5 months.. That was really inspiring and it made me more determined to loose the weight and reach my target.

Ruby Woo, for offering an ear to hear me complain about my diet and for her letting me know that the detox diet can be done by eating pancakes in the morning lool..

And also to my loyal commenter and supporters.. Meemz, libero anima, Another-Penelope, Gee, Cloudy Stars (not sure where she went), Queen, Sexy Lips, Woody, Muffin, Nemo.. and I am sorry if I forgot anyone.. it is 2am and i am suppose to be asleep yet I am here updating my blog.. *big hug for everyone*

Anyhow.. The conclusion of this diet is..
My starting weight is 73-74 (I cant remember bas it was in that range)
My current weight is 66 (I weighed myself yesterday)

I am so happy with what i achieved.. I had a dress that i stitched 3 years ago and i wore it once or twice and I couldn’t wear it again coz i couldn’t fit in it.. Yesterday i tired it on and it was perfect!! I looked so SEXY!! LOOL

I went to watch the game last night, and it was super amazing.. Better than the first time.. The stadium was full, cheers were non-stop and Oman goals were amazing..

Oman vs Iraq (4-0 for Oman)
Kuwait vs Bahrain (1-0 for Kuwait)

19th Gulf Cup

Yesterday i went to watch the opening match of the 19th Gulf Cup.. First game was between Oman and Kuwait.. game ended with a draw 0-0.. 9ara7a i had so much fun.. everyone knew my name in the end of the match, even the guys LOL.. it was crazy.. At one point i stood up and i said loudly i might add "Ana Ashaja3 el Kuwait", OMG everyone turned and looked at me and gave me the look of "Oh you didnt NOT just say that!!".. lool.. i swear they were about to kill me.. So i told them, "hey i have Kuwaiti friends so im also supporting them".. All the girls were on me and everyone was like "If you want to support them go sit with them in their area".. Wallah 7ala.. but over all it was amazing.. The spirit and the tashjee3 and everything.. The game was fair.. although a bit frustrating and sometimes slow, bas both teams played well.. The second game was Bahrain and Iraq.. Bahrain won the game with an end score of 3-1..

Today Emirates and Yemen are Playing, and KSA and Qatar..
Good luck to all the teams and may the best win..
