Single Standy, Over and Out!!

One More Day Left!!

The highlights of the/my wedding preparations are:

1. I had a bridal shower/ party and it was AWESOME.. Thanks to No Identity, Queen Nusy and my buddy/cousin Sara for being there and making the event possible.. around 50/60 of my friends were there and it was something else.. i got gifts of all kinds =p hehe...

2. We had a celebration where my aunties got me gifts and stuff.. I wasnt allowed to be down with them as a tradition but listening to them from the stairs was FUN lool..

3. Next was the "washing the bride celebration" where they take the bride and all the aunties and grandma's gather with her and start washing her with "9andal" and i donno what.. Thank god that didnt happen to me ( i washed myself thank you very much) but we did celebrate the day =)

4. Today is the fourth and final celebration before the wedding.. Today is the "Henna Day".. So they apply henna and just celebrate it and do rabsha.. So there will be a local rabsha band, and girls putting henna.. its gonna be WILD!!

5. I tried what was suppose to be my dress but i really couldnt see it.. its like i tried a White bed sheet on with that is just hugging my body.. now i was told it wasnt final and what i was trying what the inside or something.. hmm, lets hope it will be ready by Friday..

6. i finished everything that i was suppose to do and now i feel like i forgot something or i am suppose to do something..

7. I got a sneak peak on my table arrangements and i am so in love with them..

8. i cant wait to meet my doctor =)

9. I dont feel like i am getting married!!!!

10. I am hungry..

Funny how one word can be said in many different ways..

So, I am running out of time..

This week is my last week working.. I am handing over my work (not that I have many things but I like how it makes me sound important =p)..

Tuesday night, I will be traveling to Dubai for business, and will be back Thursday night.. Now I am responsible for this process and I am going to visit the lab in Dubai 3ashan I see how the actual work is being done.. Lets hope I don’t feel sleepy and I do actually benefit from this trip..

Today it was raining since 4am till say 6 something am.. The weather is amazingly nice.. No mood to work.. I feel like having breakfast outdoors.. It’s a shame that I cant even enjoy the beach view that is in front of my office.. The temperature today morning was 16 degree.. That is VERY cold for me =)

Back to the number 12..
Apparently I have 12 days left before my wedding day.. Now lets see how my wedding preparations are going on…

I can honestly say I have no clue on what is going on… From my wedding dress to the other simple stuff.. I am clueless!!!

Hmm.. I just remembered that I need to buy something loool..

And yet Standy is in denial!!!!

The Freakin Count Down Has Started!!!

1. Have you ever seen the movie “7 Days to live”? If you haven’t seen it, it’s A MUST SEE!! That movie was amazingly scary.. I loved it.. Its not the SAW type scary.. Its more of thriller suspense scary.. You guys just go and watch it.. If you are a fan or horror movies..

2. Have you guys seen “Paranormal Activities”???? Now that is a MUST see movie too.. I haven’t seen it yet but I wanna watch it and I am too scared to watch it alone.. Bint El Wazeer was suppose to see it with me bas somehow it never happened.. I this she chickened out and she is just covering face by saying that she is busy lol!


Ok…. I kinda lost the point that I want to say here…


Oh I remembered it now..


So to reference movie No.1.. Its like I am on a bloody count down and people are counting for me (which I have to admit, its kind amusing and has a nice feeling to it) on the other hand I am completely freaking out!! You know when in the movie they come and say “You have 7 days to live” I kinda feel like that.. That I am running out of time and the day is approaching sooner than I want it to..

And to reference movie No.2.. Its when things happen that are out of your control.. Things gets done or being done that you are aware or not aware of.. Or when you see it but you cant control what is happening.. Yupe, that is how I am feeling..

I told my friend that I am actually throwing myself in the sea by getting married.. She replied saying “at least you can swin.. You will survive”

How is that sentence supposed to make me feel any better??!!!

Then I tell her “but I can’t swim” she goes and says “Buy that thing for kids”
