This is really freaky.. During the Eid period of a week time, 35 people died!!! And 227 injured!!! Guys really, drive safely..
Statistics, as published by ROP (Royal Oman Police), show an increase in road fatalities this year. Total number of accidents came down by 15% so far compared to same period last year however, fatalities increased by 21% and injuries by 24%.
ROP have attributed the increased death rate to (over)speeding, wrong overtaking, reckless driving and usage of mobile phones. Please be extra vigilant while driving and exercise your defensive driving techniques to avoid being another statistics in ROP list. Make sure that you comply with all road rules and regulations and keep the Road Consequence Matrix at the back of your mind.

desertpalms: Yeah for a week and and only accidents its too much.. Imagine yesterday i heard 5 cars infront of city center and today my friend passed by 2 accident!! :S
